Lunar Eclipse at the Tellus Museum

The Tellus Museum will be open from 12 AM to 5:30 AM on December 21, 2010 for a star party to view the Lunar Eclipse. The observatory as well as other telescopes on the grounds of the museum will be open allowing you to get a great view of the eclipse.
If you would prefer staying warm while observing the lunar eclipse, the banquet halls and theater will be open and streaming the images from the observatory.
Coffee, hot chocolate, and breakfast foods will be available for purchase at the Tellus Cafe.
Price of admission for this special event is free for members and is included in regular admission for non members. For more information and details, contact 770-606-5700.

Concert Under the Stars

John Serrie, new age musician, will be performing a very unique Concert Under the Stars in the Planetarium at the Tellus Museum in Cartersville, Georgia on December 18, 2010. His show is both an audio and visual experience as he performs Christmas music from his album, “Upon a Midnight Clear”.
Two concerts will be performed on December 18, one at 7 PM and one at 8:30 PM. There will be a cash bar and an appetizer menu before each show. Tickets are $15 for members, $25 for non members. Call 770-606-5700 ext. 431 to purchase tickets.
