Evening lectures take place the last Thursday of each month at 7 PM at the Bartow History Museum in Cartersville, Georgia. KSU professor Dr. Jennifer Dickey will be this month’s featured guest and she will be presenting an overview of the Tuskegee Airmen from World War II on January 26, 2012. An exhibit on the Tuskegee Airmen curated by Kennesaw State University will be on display at the Bartow History Museum from January 23, 2012 through March 17, 2012.

Museum Admission is $5.50 for adults, $4.50 for senior citizens & students, children under 5 and active-duty military with ID admitted free.

Every third Wednesday of the month from 12 Noon to 1 PM is a Lunch and Learn lecture series at the Bartow History Museum in Cartersville, Georgia. January’s Lunch and Learn lecture will be on January 18, 2012 and will feature Justice Robert Benham, a Georgia Supreme Court Justice. The topic of discussion is African American history in Bartow County.
